Would you know what to do if your baby started choking? Could you spot the signs of meningitis? What’s the best way of dealing with a toddler who’s had an electric shock? In an emergency First Aid situation, taking the right course of action until the paramedic arrives can make a real difference.

Unfortunately, many parents have had little or no effective training in First Aid for babies and toddlers. Even worse, the first time this hits home is when something has happened to their child and they need to act immediately. It can be a terrifying experience for parents to be faced with an emergency situation and suddenly realise that they don’t know what to do.

Our Paediatric Emergency First Aid training session specifically help Mums and Dads who have very young children. With our expert and friendly tuition, parents will learn to recognise and deal with a wide variety of emergency situations, including:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Asthma attacks
  • Febrile convulsions
  • Heavy bleeding
  • Broken bones
  • Burns and scalds
  • Choking babies
  • Diabetes
  • Meningitis
  • Sickle-cell anaemia
  • Heat and cold exposure
  • Electric shocks
  • Poisons
  • Bites and stings
  • An unconscious child

Courses will be provided in your local area.
