Summary

The Level 2 CoSHH will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

Who should take this course?

The course is designed for those responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work. It is also suitable for any employee who uses hazardous substances in the work environment, including those working in manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and offices.

In preparation for this course, we recommend that you take the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (or equivalent).

Qualification

Level 2 CIEH CoSHH certificate. The certificate is Ofqual accredited (Ofqual reference: 600/0210/4)

On this course you will learn to identify the hazards associated with various substances, identify the risks and controls available to deal with the substances, and identify what to expect from a COSHH assessment.
