Maritime Integrated Services STCW95 training is delivered by Compass Sea School Ltd, an approved MCA, STCW95 training centre. The Standard of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW95) code requires all seafarers to receive familiarisation and basic safety training or instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1 as follows.
Awareness of safety procedures and the safety equipment available, employment conditions and the working environment on board a merchant vessel are all covered in this training. Our centre currently provides 3 of the 4 modules for the STCW 95 scheme including: Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR), Personal Survival Techniques (PST), and Elementary First Aid training (EFA). The 4th and final module is currently being developed an experienced Fire Fighting training provider which shall be announced shortly.
Aim: The course is aimed at SSO trained MARSEC operators, Private Maritime Security Companies (PMSC), Private contractors employed to provide Security Personnel (both armed and unarmed) for protection against piracy. Privately contracted armed security personnel (PCASP), armed employees of PMSC and STCW 95 trained operators.
